A Lecture by Bob Djurdjevic, founder of "Truth in Media"

Maddington Serbian Center

Colonization of the world by bombs and dollars

PERTH, Australia, Apr. 2, 2000 - The following is an English language version of the prepared text for the lecture that the TiM editor delivered in Serbian language at the Maddington Serbian Center in Perth, Australia, on Sunday, Apr. 2, at 7PM, as the final event of a weeklong commemoration of March 24, the New Day of Infamy.

The TiM editor was introduced Dr. Nenad Petrovic, president of the Serbian National Federation of Western Australia, and Slavko Djuric, coordinator of the WA's Marrch 24 commeoration project.  Djurdjevic was also welcomed by the Serbian Center hosts – presiden, Dusan Vulin, and the former president and vice president Radoslav Djordjevic and Pavle Novakovic, who last October elected Bob Djurdjevic and honorary member of the Maddington Serbian Center.

The lecture, which lasted about 65 minutes, was frequently interrupted by spontaneous applause by the audience.  It was followed by a lively 30 minute-question and answer period.  One relatively young man asked the TiM editor if he would be willing to go to Serbia and become its president. The question was followed by a loud applause and shouts of approval from the audience.  Djurdjevic replied that all he trying to do is serve God and his truth, as well as the patriots around the world, including the Serbian ones. And that the purpose of these lectures is the liberty and enlightenment of the people, not a political campaign.

After the Q&Q, a Dragoslav Lazarevic film, “Ranjena Zemlja” (“A Wounded Country”), was screened.

Thank you, my dear hosts, on your kind and generous words of welcome.  I am delighted to be back with my friends in Perth; now I can say “my old friends in Perth.”  My honorary membership card of the Maddington Serbian Center, which you presented to me last October, graces a wall in my office as a treasured souvenier.

[turning to the audience]

Ladies and gentlemen, lovers of truth and liberty, brothers and sisters of Serb heritage, dear other guests who understand Serbian, readers of the Truth in Media worldover who are reading this lecture now on the Internet…

Thank you for your invitation to give this lecture at the Maddington Serbian Center on the subject the "New World Order and Serbia," as the final event of your weeklong commemoration of March 24, the New Day of Infamy.  I am glad to see many familiar faces among you - people who also attended my speech last October.

This time, I am addressing you in Serbian.  But if someone wishes later on to ask me a question in English, I will reply that way, too.

Most people have heard something about a New World Order.  Some have even read tomes about it.  But few people that I have met in my travels around the world can explain succinctly what it is.  Tonight, I will try to answer that question.

I will also speak about the geopolitical reasons the New World Order hooligans have decided to pick on Serbia.

You will also hear tonight who is the "Enemy No. 1" of the New World Order, and what sort of a world we can expect if the current geopolitical trends continue in the future.

I will also propose a few ideas about what Serbia needs to do to protect herself from the New World Order "reforms," from its "democracy," and from its "humanitarian wars."

At the end, I will share with you a few examples which indicate that a western sunset is already under way, and a new dawn is discernible in the East.

I do not expect that all of you will agree with me on everything.  On the contrary.  If everyone ends up unhappy about at least something I say, I will be overly happy!  For, that would be proof that I've hit the bulls eye, the center of the political spectrum.  Also, when the truth prickles, it often causes new thoughts and opens new horizons.  Which is the purpose of this lecture.

But let us start from the beginning… War in Serbia in 1999…

I spent only 6 days under NATO's bombardment in late April.  But Serbia had endured 79 days of such terror.

During our visit to Serbia last September, my Canadian-born wife and I visited 8 cities in 4 days.  We saw with our own eyes the terrible consequences of that attack on mankind which NATO carried out on behalf of the New World Order.

A military alliance of 19 nations and 780 million people; with over half of the world's gross economic product, possessing two-thirds of the global military power, ganged up on a tiny nation of 10 million.  For 79 days, NATO terrorized the people of Serbia, dropping 23,000 bombs and missiles on them in 36,000 sorties.

In such savage attacks, 576 Serb soldiers and more than 2,000 Serb civilians have been killed, 79 of them children.

Yet the citizens and the army of Serbia remained unbowed and unkowed!  This is not hearsay.  I saw their defiance with my own eyes during the six days I had spent under NATO's bombardment.

For that reason, at every stop of our September "Tour de Serbia", I told the Serb people that it was my privilege to bow my head before them in admiration of their courage and love of freedom.  And then I bowed to the nation, like this. [bowing]

Their exemplary resistance to a foreign aggression against such overwhelming odds has inspired millions of patriots across America and around the world into staging thousands of protests of their own.  Your presence here, at this final act of the March 24 commemoration, also attests to it.

And now, I would like to ask you rise [signal] to join me in honoring all NATO victims with a silent prayer and a minute of silence, as befits an ancient nation which has learned to mourn as well as honor its dead.  Let us pray… [pray]

Amin! [signal to sit down]  May God let the Serbian victims and their families know that we have not forgotten them, and that they will always be in our prayers.

For me personally, one of the most touching gestures of solidarity with the Serbian people was a gift from a group of German citizens. They sent to Serbia a giant, 13.5-meter tall cross.  The cross was gold-plated at the Macvanska Mitrovica shipyard, and placed atop the Mount Sokol near Ljubovija, at exactly noon on March 24, with a blessing by the Sabac-Valjevo Bishop Lavrentije.

Even some other NATO countries were also against the attack on Serbia. Greece, for example, which did not participate in the bombing campaign. I'm reminded of a story that a high-level military friend of mine was told by none other than NATO's Bomber-in-Chief, Gen. Wesley Clark.

After a meeting during the bombing campaign, Clark walked over to the Greek ambassador to NATO and said: "This must be difficult for you, as I know there is a lot of controversy in your country about what we are doing."

To which the Greek ambassador replied: "Oh, no, Gen. Clark. There is no controversy. We are all against it!"

Some Americans, Germans and French, for example, NONE of Serbian descent (!), even asked the Truth in Media during the war to help them go to Serbia as volunteers.  Not to mention tens of thousands of Russians who had signed up to go to Serbia.

One of the reasons is that, thanks to our wartime sources in Serbia, we were posting some photos at our Internet Web site almost immediately after the bombings took place.  And some of the TiM Bulletins were typed "live," and transmitted around the world via the Internet, literally as bombs were falling around the dwellings in which I was writing them.

As a result of such dramatic wartime reports, the TiM Web site was also received millions of hits - from people across the U.S. and over 100 countries around the world.  In May 1999, it was voted No. 33 by popularity among the over 40 million Web sites on the Net back then.

The Internet was, therefore, a powerful anti-war weapon which helped move the truth and freedom-loving people world over into action.

On June 5, for example, tens of thousands of Americans demonstrated in solidarity with Serbian people. During my speech at the Vietnam Memorial, this huge mass of humanity repeated after me from the top of their lungs:

“Clinton, Albright, Clark and Gore - we don’t want your bloody war!” As well as… “Drop Clinton, Not Bombs!”

Exuding enormous energy, accompanied by deafening sounds of the Chinese-American drummers, participants in the largest anti-war protest in America since the end of the Vietnam War, delivered a thundering "NO!" to Clinton's war on Serbia.

Later on that evening, I wrote the following words in my hotel room, with tear running down my cheeks for joy - that there are still so many decent and brave Americans - and broadcast them around the world via the Internet:

"WASHINGTON, Saturday, June 5 - Mark this day - June 5! This is the day a Serb flag flew at the Pentagon possibly for the first time in history.  The red-blue-and-white Serb banner was mounted high on top of the soundstage erected on the Pentagon lawn, right next to the official U.S. Defense Department flagpole.

All around the stage, more than 30,000 anti-war demonstrators… billowed from the top of their lungs (as if at a football game):

"Yu-go-sla-via! Yu-go-sla-via!" And "Kosovo is Serbia!"

It was a moment to behold. One older American summed up the mood in the crowd succinctly.  Dressed as an Uncle Sam from top-to-bottom, he held up a big sign which just said: "NO!"  [pause]

Meanwhile, back in Serbia, the "Clinton Doctrine" was progressing full steam ahead.  What's the "Clinton Doctrine?"

As Col. David Hackworth, America's most decorated living soldier, whom I also have the privilege to count among my friends, put it, the "Clinton Doctrine" is:

"Bomb the civilians and civilian structures until that country's military can't stand to watch it anymore."

Ladies and gentleman, Clinton was not waging war on Milosevic.  He was waging war on the Serbian people.  It was waging war on women, children, pensioners, priests…

It was a cowardly war. Probably the only kind of a war which we could have expected from a Vietnam era draftdodger; from a sympathizer of the red USSR; from a person who participated in the London demonstrations during which American flags were burned; from an American who would not rate even the lowest level of our national security - were he not President!

In other words, an enemy of America, not only of Serbia!

Ladies and gentlemen, that was not war.  That was state terrorist!  Those were war crimes committed by the leader of the New World Order!

Here's, for example, a tape-recording which is not a product of a Hollywood soundstage.  This is what real sirens and bombs sound like.  What you're about to hear was recorded live on a Belgrade balcony in late April:

And this is a missile which sailed over downtown Belgrade, before crashing into the Dragisa Misovic hospital at (the Belgrade suburb of) Dedinje:

Now try to image having to live under such air raids and bombs for 79 days, and maybe then you will understand why even a four-year old Serb girl began to lose her hair.  And why 10 million people, not just those killed or maimed, were traumatized.  And why I keep bowing my head before a nation that  endured such horrors with its head held high.

As Christians, we can forgive the sinners who genuinely repent; even the NATO war criminals.  BUT WE MUST NEVER FORGET!  We must never forget the crimes which the perfidious former Serb allies have committed against a small nation that never meant them any harm.

We must never forget that from June 12, 1999 to January 13 of this year, over 180,000 Serbs, more than 90% of the prewar population, were driven out of Kosovo.

We must never forget the 772 civilians, 684 of them Serbs, who were murdered during the seven months of NATO's "peace farce," under the noses of the KFOR occupying forces.

We must never forget the 559 Serbs abducted during the same period, and now presumed dead.

We must never forget more than 500 Serb prisoners of war, rotting in the New World Order POW camps - in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia. These Serb POWs are worth no less than the bones of the American POWs in Vietnam.

The New World Order may try to cover up the truth about its Serb prisoner camps. The Belgrade regime may pretend as if it has never heard of them. But we, the descendants of Prince Lazar, Karadjordje, Generals Putnik and Misic - we MUST NEVER forget these Serbian prisoners of war! Sooner or later, Serbia must free them and bring them home to their families. [pause]

And now, I would like to try to answer the question - what is the New World Order?

As a writer, analyst of global geopolitical affairs, political commentator, and public speaker I often come across people who use the term the "New World Order" but are at a loss to explain what it is.  If asked to do so, they tend to stutter, "it's… um… you know… ah… isn't it something that started well but turned out badly?"

Well, sort of.  Kind of like Hitler's Third Reich.  It also started well - for the downtrodden German people, starving and humiliated by victorious and arrogant WW I allies.  But it ended badly, both for the German people and for millions of others around the world.

The Bolsheviks also tried to build their version of a "new world order," marketed globally as Communist International, and using slogans such as, "workers of the world unite."

Meanwhile, the communist bosses got fat off of such workers, just as today Wall Street and Washington is getting rich off of the taxpayers of America, Australia, Canada or Europe.

But the quest for "new world orders" dates much further back than Hitler, Lenin or Stalin.  In fact, it goes as far back as one man's ambition to rule another man's life.

Niccolo Machiavelli, for example, wrote in "Prince" (1513):

"There is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage, than a creation of a new order of things."

But since power-hungry, would-be rulers of the world - from Genghis Khan, to Attila the Hun, to Napoleon, to… rarely pay attention to the words of the wise, or bother to learn from history, they tend to repeat it.  Usually at their own peril.  Which is why every variation of a "new world order" tends to crumble eventually, invariably ending up in the dustbin of history.

The words, "New World Order," were first uttered in the contemporary context by the American president George Bush in 1990.  Its first victims were Panama and Iraq. They were followed by Somalia, former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Bosnia, several parallel wars in the Caucuses, Thailand, Iraq again, Sudan, Afghanistan, Serbia-Kosovo, Chechnya, East Timor…

And if current trends continue, the next episodes will be Taiwan, Korea, Middle East, Mediterranean (Greco-Turkish conflict), Kosovo again, etc.

Why? As I have been saying for years, the real motto of the New World Order terrorists is not "world peace through world trade," as its leaders claim; it is "perpetual commerce through perpetual war."

First you knock them down; then you build them up. Either way, the "death merchants" and their industrial and media partners-in-crime win.  Serbia is just the latest case in point.

Bottom line?  War is good business.  Always has been.  Always will be.

Just ask the top Pentagon suppliers whose share soared, while mankind's stock dropped. The shares of the top 10 Pentagon suppliers outperformed the rest of the bullish stockmarket (S&P 500) by a 2.5-to-1 ratio during the first 60 days of the war.

A coincidence? Not a chance.

NATO "humanitarian mission" was premeditated mass murder.  It had little to do with what Milosevic did or did not do.

Would it surprise you to learn, for example, that the Clinton administration requested an additional $112 billion for the Pentagon budget in February of 1999 - BEFORE Rambouillet, and almost six weeks before the NATO bombing started?

Would you be surprised to learn that a detailed plan for NATO’s bombing of Serbia was drafted and approved by Gen. Wesley Clark in June 1998?  Yes, nine months BEFORE the bombing started!  If in doubt, check out the Mar. 27 cover story in a leading Canadian magazine – “Macleans.”

In other words, the so-called "Kosovo Crises" was another product of the Washington Crises Factory.  Without crises, there can be no wars.  Without wars, there can be no profits for the "merchants of death."

Ladies and gentlemen, what we saw at work in the Balkans, therefore, was  the latest example of an evil, genocidal, parasitic, Machiavellian military-industrial-financial complex enriching itself on the backs of other fellow-humans' pain and suffering.

Not that long ago, in 1983, President Reagan justifiably called the Soviet Union an Evil Empire.

Now, Washington is the seat of an Evil Empire and Belgrade is the capital of the Free World!

If Winston Churchill were to deliver his famous "Iron Curtain" speech today, he might say:

"But a shadow has fallen upon the scenes so lately lighted by the Cold War victory. From Belfast on the Irish Sea, to Trieste in the Adriatic; to Budapest on the Danube - an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. And its name is - NATO."

How was it possible to discern this in advance?  Because strategic geopolitical interests which dictate the moves of the New World Order imperialists are slow to change…

In April 1995, the Truth in Media published its first article about the strategic position of Russia.  In it, we asserted that the so-called "Partnership for Peace" was nothing more than a more perfidious version of the old western "Drang Nach Osten."  And that the former Soviet dominions in Eastern Europe have now all become western minions, conquered by dollars, not bombs.

And where does Serbia fit in all of this?

Serbia is one small, almost imperceptible dot on the world geopolitical maps.  But it is a thorn in the eye of the New World Order.  For, Serbia is the only non-vassal nation left in all of Europe.

Plus the country lies right on top of a key geopolitical fault line which runs from Asia to Europe.  And that is why NATO wanted Kosovo.  As I first said in a Nov. 1995 Arizona Republic article, and later in an Oct. 1998  Washington Times column…

"NATO's involvement in the Balkans is NOT about protection of civilians - Albanian or any other kind. It is about projection of power into a political vacuum created by the end of the Cold War. And about connecting NATO East (Turkey) with NATO West (Bosnia) - over the backs of a small predominantly Orthodox Christian nation whose territory unfortunately happens to intersect these NATO strategic interests (along the "Green Interstate").

If the Serb leader had been smart, he would have realized all this… As it were, Milosevic totally misread the geopolitical tea leaves around the end of the Cold War… And the Serbian people have been paying the price for his arrogance and stupidity ever since."

Ladies and gentlemen, some of you may be hearing this analysis for the first time, even though it was published almost 5 years ago, when I first predicted that Kosovo would become "Bosnia II."

But Serbian leaders, in the government or in the opposition, have no such excuse. I have personally briefed about this most of the key political, military, academic (SANU) and even church leaders.  And although I have not met with Milosevic since February 1992, I know that some of his people have also tried to make him see the light.

Unfortunately, the kind of a light which Milosevic saw, if at all, seems to have been a train from the opposite direction, with NATO driving the engine. [pause]

And so, here we are, where we are. Serbia is once again facing a dead end in the dead of winter, only poorer and colder than before.  And minus several thousand of its citizens killed by NATO.

So what's to be done? Does that mean that you should lie down and surrender?  Not at all.  Just choose a different field of battle. One where the odds are better.

I don't know how many of you have had a chance to travel through the deserts of the Southwest.  But, let me tell you, Arizona and Southern California are full of bikers.  No, these  are not your "Tour de 'France"-type bikers, but the bearded motorcycle characters who carry guns, chains, knives, and usually travel in gangs.  They look like the real "mean dudes."  Or, as a friend of mine, a former Green Beret, calls them -- "bad actors".

Well, try visualize a little truck stop in the middle of the desert.  A truck driver walks into the restaurant and orders a hamburger, a cup of coffee and a piece of pie.

As he sits down to eat, three rough looking bikers also come in.  One grabs his hamburger and begins to eat it.  Another picks up his coffee and spills it on the floor.  The third one takes a bite out of his pie, then mashes the rest on the plate.

The truck driver says nothing, gets up, pays the cashier and leaves.  One of the three bikers turns to the cashier and says:

"Not much of a man, is he?"

"Not much of a driver, either", said the cashier.  "he just ran his truck over three motorcycles."

Moral of the story?  First, action speaks louder than words.  Second, a smart person will choose his own field of battle.  The field where the odds are better.

In Serbia's case, it means going AROUND, rather than AT the New World Order.  It is pointless to go with NATO toe-to-toe in a direct military duel, even more so than it would have been fruitless for this Arizona truck driver to challenge the bikers.

So is there is a way out of the dead end - from a political, economic and spiritual standpoint?  Yes, there is.  But it isn't easy.  And it requires a lot of patience, perseverance, courage and wisdom.

Let us start with politics. During my recent trip to Serbia I could see that "everybody" these days is calling for Milosevic's resignation.  Far be it for me to defend the man whom I publicly denounced as early as August 1990, at the time when he objectively enjoyed about a 90% support by the Serb electorate.  Even my late father got mad at me because of that.

And I repeated such an opinion in 1994, when Milosevic betrayed the Bosnian and the Krajina Serbs.  And especially after Dayton (in 1995).

But now, when the pro-western Serbian opposition vassals are repeating, like parrots, Clinton's and Albright's demands, I say: "Wait a minute, Serbian people.  And think about alternatives."

Because only the Serbian people, victims of both Milosevic and the New World Order, and not the war criminals Clinton, Albright and other NATO leaders, or their obedient vassals among some Serbian opposition leaders, can decide when it is time to change the president.

While we're on the topic of vassals, can you imagine a Serb leader posing for reporters with one of Hitler's top aids - after the Luftwaffe's April 6, 1941 bombing of Belgrade which killed hundreds of civilians?  Not if he hoped to be a Serb leader for long, right?

Well, on Dec. 17, 1999, three would-be Serb leaders - Zoran Djindjic, Milo Djukanovic and Vuk Draskovic did just that at a Berlin (how appropriate!) Dec. 17 meeting with an unindicted war criminal, Madeleine Albright, the U.S. Secretary of State.

And on Feb. 25, Bishop Artemije did the same in Washington.

Take a look at the photo posted at our Web site ( ).  What are these people smiling about?  About the more than 2,500 Serb civilians killed by the Albright's bombs in, what the TIME magazine had called, "Madeleine's War?" (see S99-81, Day 55, Item 2, May 17).

That Berlin photo needs no caption.  For, the only words that come to mind are: "Vassals! Traitors! Shame!"

Montenegro's president, Djukanovic, posed with Albright one-on-one in what appears to have been a hotel room.

"His or her hotel room?" reads the caption of the photo posted at the Truth in Media Web site, depicting the smiling faces of these two New World Order M&M's (Madeleine & Milo) (see ).

But the Serbs have long memories when it comes to traitors and vassals among them.  Starting with Vuk Brankovic, and including the Serbian M&M's - Milosevic and Mira Markovic. They betrayed not only the Kosovo Serbs, but also hundreds of thousands of Serbs from Bosnia and Croatia.

So unless another uncompromised Serbian patriotic alternative emerges before the next elections, the Serbs may have to choose between the devils they know (the Milosevic and Markovic M&M's) and the ones they don't (the 3D's and the Montenegrin Albright vassals).

But before the Serbian people decide when and how it is time for their M&M's to go, the nation must consider alternatives.  To this end, it is instructive to look at the experiences of other NWO vassal nations which took Washington's advice on how to implement economic reform and democracy.

Let's look at Russia.  In a Special Report, titled "Killing Russia Softly," published after my first-ever visit to that vast country in the spring of 1997, we pointed out that the life expectancy of an average Russian male had dropped from 65 to 57.7 years between 1987 and 1995. And the Russian women had their life span shortened by three years - from 74 years under the Soviets, to 71 years.

That puts Russia at the level of Afghanistan and some of the poorest African countries.  And it is a direct consequence of the kinds of economic reforms which American "experts" prescribed.  And which practically destroyed Russia's old health care system.

As if that weren't enough, the West has plundered Russia, with the help of the Yeltsin quislings, transferring over $500 million of her assets, legally or illegally, into foreign western bank accounts.  Industrial enterprises from the Soviet era were being sold for a pittance to the Yeltsin oligarchy, backed by the western bankers.

I went back to Russia last September, after my visit to Serbia. And I can tell you that things have only gone from bad to worse in the last three years, from an economic standpoint.

In short, the NWO version of "democracy", "reforms" and "free trade" boils down to a license to steal, cheat and kill! Legally!

Is that the kind of "democracy" the Serbian people want?  Well, it's the kind they can expect if the pro-western opposition vassals come to power.

For me, the preceding statistics represent a classic definition of PLUTOCRACY, not democracy.  Which in Easter Europe seems to have evolved into KLEPTOCRACY.

Milosevic sold out Kosovo.  They will sell out all of Serbia. Just as Yeltsin tried to sell out Russia.

Which means, taking advice from the totally corrupt systems, such as today's Klinton's Amerika, is a recipe for a disaster. If in doubt, just ask 62% of Americans who voted with their feet against Klinton's Amerika, by staying away from the voting booths at the 1998 congressional elections.

So to summarize the answer as to what the New World Order is…

In its ideal form, the New World Order is not all that different from the communist version which we experienced on our own skins.  It is a plutocratic world in which money is God and the end all and be all.  It is a world which legitimizes state terrorism, as in the case of Serbia.

It is a world without borders, without religions, without traditions, without nations, without morals, without cultures… a world in which 6 billion people slave away so that less than 4,000 "Princes" could enjoy the sweetness and the passion of power.

If God were to (re)create the world by the designs of the NWO Princes, there would be only three kinds of creatures:

  • All two legged-creatures would be ostriches;

  • All four legged-ones would be sheep;

  • All sea creatures would be sardines, anxiously waiting in long lines at the nearest Princes' ports to be stuffed into cans by some New World Order machine;

I can see that such a world may suit some Australian sheep farmers.  But only on condition that they stoop down to the level of their livestock.

And who are these Princes? Can one learn their names?

Yes. Just take a look at the rosters of the Non-Governmental Organizations, such as Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, etc.

Among these less than 4,000 people, you will find the names of ALL henchmen of Serbia and Russia; of ALL architects of an organized fascist and racist Slavophobic campaign in the West.

For that reason, I never cease to be amazed at how many people in Serbia and in the Diaspora are still in love with such a "West." They adore the NWO West which hates them, which oppresses them, and which kills them.

Mostly because of a chance to educate and enlighten such Serbian ostriches, I accepted to write for free weekly columns on the subject of the New World Order which are published every Tuesday, now for almost five months, at the popular Internet site - - in Serbian and in English.

As long as such a New World Order is ruling the world, Serbia has nothing good to hope for from it.  Which means, that the Serbian people must "trust in themselves and their own horse" ("Uzdati se u se i u svoje kljuse").

Instead of "panem et circenses" ("bread and games"), which is that the dying Rome offered its citizens as a sedative, as today's Washington and Canberra are doing, the Serbs should work for "bread and electricity."

"Bread," so the nation can eat before signing on to the Internet.  "Electricity," so that people can spread their creative energies around the world.  As Tesla, Pupin and other Serbs have done before.

We are living in the midst of a revolution - the information technology revolution, a revolution no less dramatic than the invention of gun powder.

In an article published in July 1997 in the FORBES magazine on-line edition I explained…

"The Internet and the PC - two post-industrial era technological revolutions - are returning Homo Sapiens back to nature. It's the beginning of "Renaissance II." "Move over Einstein, Signor Da Vinci Is Back" was the column's title.

The ubiquitous PC and the Internet have empowered individuals and small companies to compete with giant enterprises on a level playing field. They've become equalizers. Kind of like the invention of gun powder or handguns enabled a little old lady to overpower a giant aggressor.

The result is a massive transfer of wealth from industrial incumbents to information technology challengers.  Bill Gates, by far the richest man in America, is today much wealthier than the IBM CEO.  Yet 20 years ago, he was a relative nobody.  Similar opportunities exist today for small nations with talented people engaged in the field of information technology.

The industrial era automated the simplest (physical) forms of life; called them SCIENCES; held them in high esteem; and rewarded handsomely its apostles (Albert Einstein, et. al.). It also put down the more complex forms of life - the ARTS.

Now, with the advent of PC's and the Internet, a (re)fusion of arts and sciences is taking place…

Leonardo Da Vinci would have been pleased.  He'd be probably wearing the  Mona Lisa's heavenly smile.

If in doubt, picture a CNN reporter sticking a microphone in front of Signor Da Vinci, and asking him: "Sir, do you consider yourself an artist or a scientist?"

What do you think the great Renaissance man's answer would have been?

"Son, I haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about. What is the difference between artists and scientists?," is my guess."

Ladies and gentlemen, Serbia is a small country.  It cannot afford to be all things to all people.  Its economic policy must be very focused if it is to succeed.  Which means that agriculture, energy and the Internet-related information technologies should be given top priority. [pause]

But "trusting in themselves and their own horse" alone, as important as it is right now, to help the Serbian nation survive the genocidal sanctions of the New World Order imposed 8 years ago, won't be enough by itself for the long-term survival of the nation.

Serbia is too small a country to be able to survive by herself, surrounded by the NWO dragons. Which means that Serbia must join with those forces in the world which have the power and the will to confront the New World Order.

The only such country in the world is Russia. Not the hungry, plundered, demeaned Russia about which you read in the western media. The Russia about which the NWO media dare not write. The Russia whose best two-thirds are not available to the western bankers - its mighty military-industrial complex.

The Russian Navy, especially its nuclear submarines, plus some of its latest long-range missiles, can run circles around the competitive NATO/NWO technologies, some of the TiM (western!) military experts tell us.  But we, the suckers who pay for the NWO techno-trash, which was hitting the wooden tank dummies instead of real tanks in Serbia, we are not supposed to know that.  We are supposed to believe like ostriches, and believe that western technology is superior?

Why, do you think, has the NWO "free press" not reported that the customs duties have been removed between Russia and Serbia (and Byelorussia) on Dec. 14, allowing a free flow of goods and services between the three countries?

Or that Serbia is now on a special regime of expedited oil and gas deliveries from Russia - in direct contravention of the UN/US embargo?

Or the fact that there are now probably more senior Serb officers working (i.e., being trained) in Moscow, Chelyabinsk or Rostov than in Serbia?

Or that a new Russian military doctrine is in effect, which has abandoned Yeltsin's treasonous farce under the "partnership of peace" label, and replaced it with the New World Order being Russia's "Enemy No. 1?"

Or that on March 20, Vladimir Putin flew into Grozny in a two-seater Sukhoi-27, by far the most superior fighter aircraft in the world, thus obviously without the usual entourage with which the perfumed Princes of the New World Order travel?

You haven't heard of that, either?

Trust I don't need to explain to you, what these six news items mean, when put together? Especially after the Russians sent Clinton's Russia dough-boy, Strobe Talbott, packing with his tail between his legs after he had come to beg for an amendment to the 1972 Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty.

And when the foreign minister, Igor Ivanov said, speaking in Belgrade in late December, that Russia's relations with NATO "are sinking to a new low."  And why such SEARING HOT news items are not being reported by the NWO establishment media in the West.

And especially now, after the Russia-Byelorussia Union became effective on Jan. 26, the day when the Yugoslav foreign minister, Zivadin Jovanovic, said that Serbia would be the next member of that Union.

As a Russian TiM reader put it, a former military officer, upon reading the text of the TiM editor's recent speech in Canada ( ):

"You were right in your lecture in Toronto.  Kosovo is Serbia, and Russia is in unpaid debt to the Serbs, who shook her out of her criminal and treacherous slumber.  Such debts are not paid in stocks.  They are paid in blood.  It will not take another 500 years (for you) to win Kosovo back.

Thanks to Serbia's dazzling heroism and her stand against the military monstrosity of NATO, within 79 days, it electrified the air in Russia and changed the long-term political dynamics in the country.  Prior to this, many people could not define their attitudes to the West.  Today, it is very clear-cut: 85% of Russians hate (Clinton's) USA. We all know what to do today. The old myths and delusions are gone. So much for the 'superficiality' of Russo-Serbian relations."

Which is why it is perhaps ironic that, while the Serbian M&Ms - Milosevic and Markovic - are trying to save their own hide, they are actually doing the right thing as far as the long-term, strategic interests of the Serbian people are concerned.

And who is the real Putin? The truth about him could lie closer to the cross than to the red communist star.

In a letter to the Journal published on Feb. 3, I said, among other things:

"He is lean, tough, scrupulous and a born-again Christian.  No wonder Vladimir Putin is the most popular politican in his home country.  No wonder the godless fat cats of the New World Order are sounding a “Red Alert?” (a WSJ editorial Jan. 24, 2000).

What the Journal editors ommited to report to their readers, however, is perhaps the most surprising and revealing part of Putin.  Far from being a hardcore communist, Russia’s popular new acting president seems to be a born-again Christian.

It was Orthodox Christmas Eve (Jan. 6), and Vladimir Putin went straight to the essence of the Christian understanding of the holiday.  "Why did Christ come into the world?" he said, apparently speaking without prepared text, or a teleprompter. "To liberate people from sickness, troubles, from death. In its essence, Christmas is a holiday of hope."

Putin's remarks could have come straight from a sermon.

When Putin became president on Dec. 31, he specifically asked for the Russian Patriarch Alexy's blessing for the three-month transitional period.  And Putin received it.

The Newsweek also reported in January that Putin became religious three years ago, after rescuing his two daughters, now ages 13 and 14, from a fire at a “dacha” (country home) near St. Petersburg.

And so, a man who “has a moral basis in life” has become the head of the only country in the world with the means to confront the world where “money rules everything.”

No wonder the Journal is calling Putin a communist and is sounding a “Red Alert,” my commentary concluded.

Last but not least, a word about Serbia's spiritual renewal.  Did it ever occur to you that all the suffering through which the country has been in the 1990s may be God's way of punishing the Serbs for 45 years of Godlessness under communism?  Forcing the people to find their souls again?

As Christians, we can forgive the sinners who genuinely repent; even the NATO war criminals.  BUT WE MUST NEVER FORGET! We must never forget the crimes which the perfidious former allies have committed in that beautiful country, that small nation, which never wished nor meant them any harm.

The New Day of Infamy, as I termed March 24 1999 in the contemporaneous editorial comment, the day when the first bombs of Serbia's former allies fell on that country, is not far away. We must mark that day peacefully, solemnly, honorably, with candles in our hands - as befits an ancient nation which has learned to shed tears over its fallen heroes, as well as honor them and celebrate their courage.

Before leaving for Australia this week, I had sent a message to His Holiness, Patriarch Pavle, with whom I regularly meet when I visit Serbia.  During the war, for example, he and I spent one of the first daytime air raids in his office at the Patriarchate.

In that letter, I suggested to His Holiness that he send a message to the Serbian priests around the world, instructing them that exactly at noon on March 24, all church bells of all Serb churches around the world should toll for five minutes straight. One minute each for the souls of 500+ of innocent civilian NATO victims. And one minute for the honorable souls of 576 Serbian soldiers who had given their lives defending their country.

We must honor the Serb victims and stand up to NATO’s aggression, not because I said so, but because sooner or later, we will all meet our Maker.  And He may ask us the same questions He posed to Prince Lazar 611 years ago:

"Prince Lazar of noble ancestry!

Which kingdom will you choose?

Will you choose the earthly kingdom?

Or you will choose the heavenly kingdom?

If you choose the heavenly kingdom…

All your army will perish,

And you, Oh Prince, will die with them…"

You know Prince Lazar's answer:

"Dear God, the earthly kingdom lasts only a brief time,

But the heavenly kingdom always and forever."

Such a noble and defiant spirit is something the materialistic western leaders and their domestic quislings may never understand!  For, that is a God-given power that only God-fearing people can muster.

Yet, sooner or later, the NATO war criminals will also meet their Maker.  Even if Bill Clinton somehow dodges a war crimes trial, as he had dodged the military service to his country, he and all other NATO leaders will eventually face a trial in a higher court.

"Don't be afraid of anything except of sin," the Patriarch Pavle once told me, asking me to pass this message to the faithful ones among the Serbian-Americans.  For, in the end, His Holiness said, God "will weigh everything precisely and fairly."

Including the sins of the NATO leaders, such as our Draftdoger-in-Chief!  And those of his assistant mass murderers, Madeleine Albright, Wesley Clark, Tony Blair, William Cohen, Sam Berger, and others.  Their sunset will be Serbia’s and free mankind’s sunrise.

The Yugoslav Army was never defeated by NATO.  That became evident to the whole world as its soldiers and armor pulled out of Kosovo after June 11.  Kosovo is today merely under a TEMPORARY occupation by foreign troops and terrorists.  As are the ancient Serb lands in Croatia and Bosnia.

The Balkans is known in history as the graveyard of empires.  The Ottoman and the Austrian empires broke their backs there. The Third Reich was also buried there.  God willing, that's where the New World Order’s Evil Empire will  bite the dust.

As a former Russian naval officer put it recently, quoting a famous Russian author, Valentin Pikul, "(in battle) the Serbs stand like a rock, and fall like a cliff."  The “tsunami” which the fall of Kosovo has unleashed is yet to reach the western shores.  But there is no doubt that it’s on its way.

The end of the North Atlantic Terrorist Organization, also known as NATO, started as its bombing of Serbia ended.  The Serbs and the 250 Russian troops changed the course of history on June 11, 1999, when they snatched the sophisticated underground Slatina (Pristina, Kosovo) military airport right under the noses of their gleeful but klutzy NATO “Uebermenschen” (see S99-107, "Peacefarce" 1, Item 1, June 11).

From that day forward, the Russian quisling, Boris Yeltsin, became merely a model for a future wax figure in a New World Order museum.  On that day, the epitaphs for Clinton, Blair, Clark or Albright were written.

After June 11, it was just a matter of time before the official foreign policy began to reflect the new anti-western political climate in Russia.  Yeltsin’s appointment of Vladimir Putin, a total unknown in the West, to the post of the prime minister on Aug. 9, was the first step.  Yeltsin’s stepping down as Russia’s president on Dec. 31, completed his transition from a president to a wax figure.

It was an apt New World Order anti-climax to be played out on the last day of the 20th century.  It was also a prelude to a western sunset.

For, the first day of the new century also gave mankind its first glimpse of the new dawn rising in the East.  Russia’s new acting president and a born-again Christian, flew out of Moscow with his wife at the crack of dawn to be with his troops in Chechnya on the first day of the first year of the new century.

At the same time, the western leaders partied in the comfort of their palaces.  Just as the Austro-Hungarian royals happily toasted the new century one hundred years ago, oblivious of their impending sunset.

By contrast, the Russian general, Leonid Ivashov, said this week (Mar. 29) speaking at the state-owned Radio Russia, that Russia is getting ready for a military intervention in Kosovo.  And that the YU Army could start a ground offensive against NATO, so as to win its Kosovo province back.

And so, God’s World Order is once again unfolding as it has been for millions of years.  The sun is rising in the east, and it is setting in the west.  Sooner or later, a new dawn will rise and shine on Kosovo, too.

But even if it is God's will that it should take the Serbs another 500 years to liberate the cradle of their civilization from the shackles of Evil Empire, with or without Russia's help, as they did from the Ottoman Empire, so be it!  One day, sooner or later, Kosovo will once again be free. And Serbian.  God willing.

Because Kosovo Is Serbia!  Always has been, always will be.

So say the souls of thousands of Serbs NATO has killed over Kosovo. So say ruins of the 80 destroyed Serbian churches in Kosovo.  So say the souls of Serb heroes who died at the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. So say the eternal Kosovo Field blackbirds that have seen it all.  And so must we say again... [all Serbs around the world together]

Kosovo Is Serbia!  Always has been, always will be.
