Why America Needs Buchanan as President

Ladies and gentlemen, members of the Reform Party of Arizona, distinguished guests from other states, honorable candidates, friends of the truth and liberty,

I am honored to be back as a speaker at the Reform Party state convention. When I stood before you the last time, two years ago, I addressed the meeting as a guest speaker. Today, I am delighted to be able to tell you that I am doing it as a new member of the Reform Party of Arizona!

There is one individual who is responsible for that. That person is also with us here today. No, it’s not my wife.

Who is that extraordinary individual who can reach across the Pacific Ocean to convert someone in an instant?

He is the only one among the major candidates who truly believes in our Constitution, and wants to return our Republic to its roots.

He is the only White House hopeful who said that he would bring our troops home from overseas invasions, and deploy them along our borders against invasions by armies of illegal immigrants.

He is the only real patriot running for the highest office in the land. His presidential crest will be shaped in the form of an “A” for America, not an “I” for the IMF; or “C” for Clinton’s service to Communist China; or “G” for Great Algore’s sellout of America; or “Dubya” for a Texas stooge of Wall Street bankers.

His initials are GWB. Which in plain English translates to another Gee Whiz Bush-league candidate for the White House. He is another captain of the Rockefeller Rockettes “blue” team, playing the “Rocky” Rockettes “red” team - in an intra-squad skirmish for the world championship of “Demo Farce.”

American people know that. That’s why 62% of them voted with their feet - by staying away from the 1998 congressional elections.

By contrast, the man who touched me across the Pacific last Fall is the only major presidential candidate who stands for America’s Main Street, not for Wall Street bankers or multinational companies.

Which is why he is the only American politician being simultaneously attacked by the so-called “liberals” and the so-called “conservatives;” by the left and the right; by the Democrats and the Republicans; by the “red” and the “blue” Rockettes. And they are throwing at him the only weapon they and their lapdog media have left - stunned silence! [4:05]

Ladies and gentlemen, that leader, the man after whom I was proud to jump off the GOP ship and join the Reform Party, is America’s one and only populist candidate - Pat Buchanan!

This is the state in which the GOP cheated you out of electoral victory in the 1996 primary. But this is the state that will send you to the White House in the year 2000.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, allow me tell you what else I will talk about today.

· We’ve all heard the term New World Order. But what is this “N Dubya O?” And why should you care? I’ll try to explain that today.

· I will also talk about some acts of NWO state terrorism, such as the NATO bombing of Serbia, and will put it in a global geopolitical context.

· Back home, we will look at the consequences of rampant immigration in this country during the last 35 years, and talk about Aztlan, America’s Kosovo.

· Finally, I’ll share with you some thoughts about what we need to do to return this Republic to its roots.

Those of you who follow the Truth in Media reports on the Web know that I have just returned from an 83-day trip around the world, my second such journey in the last eight months. Listening to questions after my lectures, I often hear people using the term New World Order.

But what is it? In its ideal form, today’s New World Order is not all that different from an earlier version - the Communist International.

It is a world whose object of worship is The Golden Calf. Whose holy shrine is Wall Street. Whose political apostles’ creed is, "I believe in nothing!"

Except, of course, in the Almighty Dollar, the Golden Calf and the street called Wall.

It’s a world plutocracy in which 6 billion people slave away so that some 4,000 “Princes of the New World Order” could enjoy the spoils of power.

If God were to (re)create the world by the designs of the NWO Princes, there would be only three kinds of creatures:

· All sea-living creatures would be sardines, anxiously waiting in long lines at the Princes' ports to be stuffed into cans by some New World Order machine.

As I said to my Australian audiences, I can see that such a world may appeal to some local sheep farmers. But only provided that they are willing to stoop down to the level of their livestock.

The modern NWO is a world without borders, without religions, without traditions, without nations, without morals, without cultures…

It is an allegedly multicultural world, yet one that is represented globally by monocultural symbols, such as the English language, Coca-Cola, Nike, McDonald’s or Pizza Hut logos. No wonder such dichotomies sometimes backfire on the NWO architects.

Just the other day, a Truth in Media reader sent me a story about a tribe of jungle cannibals in Manaus, Brazil. British anthropologist, Dr. Ian Trelisman, who has been studying the tribe for 11 years, thought he would introduce them to “modern” food, after some older warriors complained that they were tired of eating the vegetables they grew in their little farms. They missed the “good old days” when they could capture members of enemy tribes and eat them in the traditional manner. [9:05]

“I had been ordering out pizza from the city once a month as a treat for myself,” Dr. Trelisman said. “So when I showed them the pizza shop flier, they started smacking their lips and pointing to the picture”

The anthropologist then lent the chief his cell phone and helped him order nine large pizzas. What followed was “a tragic instance of cross-cultural miscommunication,” Dr. Trelisman lamented.

An unlucky 25-year-old pizza delivery man, Paulo Braganza, was killed, sliced into pieces, and stewed with a mix of vegetables, Brazilian district investigators have determined.

The pizza shop fliers Dr. Trelisman had showed the tribesmen apparently had a picture of a tubby man carrying a box. “Obviously, they focused on the man and completely ignored the box,” the British anthropologist concluded. [pause]

Before experimenting with multiculturalism, Dr. Trelisman and other New World Order missionaries perhaps should have read Niccolo Machiavelli’s "Prince," written in 1513. "There is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage, than a creation of a new order of things," the world’s most famous schemer warned almost five centuries ago.

The words New World Order were first uttered in a post-Cold War context by George Bush Sr. Its first victims were Panama and Iraq. They were followed by Somalia, Haiti, former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Bosnia, several parallel wars in the Caucuses, Thailand, Iraq again, Sudan, Afghanistan, Congo, Serbia-Kosovo, Chechnya, East Timor, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone…

And if current trends continue, the next global flashpoints may be Taiwan, Middle East, Kosovo again… Maybe even conflicts involving Russia and China.

Why so many wars after the Cold War had ended? As I have been saying for years, the real motto of the New World Order crowd is not "world peace through world trade," as its leaders claim; it is "perpetual commerce through perpetual war." [12:00]

First you knock them down; then you build them up. Either way, the "death merchants" and their industrial and media partners-in-crime benefit.

Just ask the top Pentagon suppliers whose shares soared, as mankind's stock dropped. The top 10 Pentagon contractors outperformed the rest of the bullish stockmarket (S&P 500) by a 2.5-to-1 ratio during the first 60 days of the Kosovo war.

This NATO "humanitarian mission" was a case of premeditated mass murder. It had little to do with what the Serb president Milosevic did or did not do.

Would it surprise you to learn, for example, that the Clinton administration requested an additional $112 billion for the Pentagon budget in February of 1999 - BEFORE the Rambouillet negotiations, and almost six weeks BEFORE the NATO bombing started?

Would it surprise you to learn that a detailed plan for NATO’s bombing of Serbia was approved by NATO’s Gen. Wesley Clark in June 1998 - nine months BEFORE the bombing started!

In other words, the so-called "Kosovo Crises," like the Bosnian one, was another product of the Washington Crises Factory. Without crises, there can be no wars. Without wars, there can be no profits for the "death merchants." It’s that simple. [pause]

Ladies and gentlemen, what we saw in the Balkans was the work an evil, genocidal, parasitic, Machiavellian military-industrial-financial complex enriching itself on the backs of fellow-humans' pain and suffering. [14:05]

In late April of last year, I traveled to Serbia, where I spent six days under the NATO bombardment. What I saw was wanton and senseless devastation. NATO was waging war on old age homes, hospitals, schools, embassies, factories, churches, bridges, railroads, TV and radio stations...

In the wake of such bombings, 576 Serb soldiers and more than 2,000 civilians lay dead, 79 of them children.

As Col. David Hackworth put it, America's most decorated living soldier whom I also have the privilege to count among my friends, they were all victims of the "Clinton Doctrine." Which is:

Clinton was not waging war on Milosevic; he was waging war on Serb civilians. A cowardly war. The only kind of a war, I suppose, a draftdodger knows how to wage.

That is why upon my return from Serbia, I traveled twice to our nation's capital to speak out against the NATO attack on Serbia. The first time, I did it at the Ellipse, just back of the White House, on May 1. The second time, I did it on June 5, when tens of thousands of anti-war demonstrators gathered at the Vietnam Memorial. Both times, I started my speeches with the following remarks:

“I have come to Washington from the Grand Canyon state of Arizona to join you in your righteous protest against an American government which has become so un-American. This is no longer a government "OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people." This is a government OF and FOR a group of "death merchants," bankers and industrialists, run BY corrupt politicians, like Bill Clinton. And it is a government AGAINST the interests of the American people.

Is it in our interest to pay for the IMF bailouts of Wall Street bankers in Mexico, Asia, Russia or Brazil?

Is it in our interest to have American troops stationed in over 100 countries around the world?

Is it in our interest to have to build a Kosovo Memorial right next to the Wall of Tears where we are standing?

Is it in our interest to have American pilots rain death and destruction upon innocent civilians?”

I also suggested that, if Winston Churchill were to deliver his famous "Iron Curtain" speech today, he might say:

"But a shadow has fallen upon the scenes so lately lighted by the Cold War victory. From Belfast on the Irish Sea, to Trieste in the Adriatic; to Budapest on the Danube - an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. Its name is - the North Atlantic Terrorist Organization."

President Dwight Eisenhower also warned Americans in his 1961 farewell speech to the nation: [18:00]

"In the councils of government, we must guard against acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of that combination endanger our liberties or democratic process."

And yet here we are, 39 years later... we are seeing both our liberties and our democratic process endangered.

So does that mean that we should all lie down and surrender to the New World Order? Not at all. Just choose a different field of battle. One where the odds are better.

I don't know how many of our guests here have had a chance to travel through the deserts of the Southwest in the 1980s. For those that haven’t, let me tell you, Arizona and Southern California were full of bikers. No, these were not your "Tour de 'France"-type bikers. I am talking about the bearded motorcycle characters who carried guns, chains, knives, and usually traveled in gangs.

Well, try to visualize a little truck stop in the middle of the desert. A truck driver walks into the restaurant and orders a hamburger, a cup of coffee and a piece of pie.

As he sits down to eat, three rough looking bikers come in. One of them grabs his hamburger and takes a bite out of it. Another picks up his coffee and spills it on the floor. The third one mashes his pie on the plate, and then tosses it back on his table.

The truck driver says nothing, gets up, pays the cashier and leaves. One of the three bikers turns to the cashier and says:

"Not much of a driver, either", said the cashier. "Look at him run his truck over three motorcycles." [pause & smile] [20:15]

Moral of the story? First, action speaks louder than words. Second, a smart person will choose his own field of battle; the field where the odds are better.

In our case, it means throwing out of office the politicians who act as the stooges of the Washington Evil Empire. Starting with that Arizona "fraud hero," John McCain, who has backed, and even egged on, Clinton in all his crimes against humanity; in all his crimes against our wallets.

McCain, like “Dubya,” two days ago, also supported Clinton on continued Kosovo U.S. troops deployment. McCain, again like “Dubya,” Clinton or Gore, doesn’t give a hoot about nine million Mexican immigrants invading our country.

U.S. immigration floodgates are wide open. No wonder Arizona ranchers are having to defend their property and our borders almost all by themselves against an army of illegal immigrants.

We must back these American citizens, especially now that Mexico is trying to transfer the jurisdiction over a sovereign U.S. issue to the United Nations. And when Madeleine Albright and Janet Reno are siding with this foreign country against Americans.

Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever heard the term Aztlan? If not, you’d better remember it now. It’s the old Mexican name for the American Southwest - California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. And Mexico is invading it systematically and demographically, legally and illegally, just as Albanians have done in Kosovo.

· Sometime this year, Hispanics, Asians and Blacks will represent 51 percent of the population in Santa Clara County, the heart of California’s Silicon Valley.

· By 2050, Caucasians with no Hispanic heritage will become a minority in the United States for the first time in history.

Friends, this is no accident. It is a consequence of national sabotage by Washington. First, by the Immigration Act of 1965 that totally changed the quantity and the quality of immigrants. Second, by a deliberate negligence of our federal government.

The result? Cheaper labor for the Princes’ businesses. And a lower standard of living for the rest of Americans.

Nor can we expect things to improve if “Dubya” gets elected. As Sam Francis said in the April issue of the Chronicles magazine:

"[Bush] makes much of campaigning in Spanish and using Spanish-language ads, as well as boasting of his earlier record of opposing immigration restrictions, supporting bilingual educations, and staging photo ops with Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo and Mexican governors across the Texas border. The Texas governor has also opposed using U.S. troops to protect the border from illegal immigration.”

The U.S. Border Patrol officers who guard the 6,000 miles of our national borders number half as many people as the Chicago police force, for example. Or one-fifth of that in New York City.

So while our borders are porous, inside the country, there are plenty of reasons to justify calling Clinton’s America a police state. The U.S. prison population, long the largest in the world, may surpass 2 million this year, according to a recent Justice Department report.

The United States is followed by China with an estimated 1.2 million inmates, and Russia with about 1 million. But China's population is almost five times bigger than ours. Which means that even this communist country's incarceration rate is about one-fifth that of Clinton’s and Janet Reno’s America.

You think that’s bad? And it is. But it gets worse… Here's a quiz I received this week from a reader in Idaho.

· 13 strategic ballistic missile submarines with 3,114 nuclear warheads on 232 missiles;

· 121 surface combat ships and submarines, plus the support bases, shipyards and logistical assets needed for such a naval force.

“Well, don't feel too badly if you are unable to identify this global superpower,” our reader said. “This country no longer exists. It has vanished. These are the American military forces that have disappeared since the 1992 election of Bill Clinton and Al Gore.” [pause] [27:05]

Ladies and gentlemen, our electoral processes have turned into a "Demo Farce." Our Constitution is being shredded by the Washington servants of the NWO Princes. Our military is being both, morally corrupted, and used as a private army of the Princes. Foreign spies, notably Israel’s, are having a field day at the Clinton White House. Madam Halfbright’s State Department is losing laptops with highly classified national security information as if they were used library books. Both Democratic and Republican candidates are kowtowing to China, and exporting hundreds of thousands of American jobs to this communist country.

It is time for all decent, God-fearing Americans to sound the alarm and "just say no" to a government that uses our money to kill innocent people and arm potential foreign adversaries.

We still have the legal means at our disposal to throw off the New World Order yoke. But do we have the courage to do it?

All we need to do is throw out of office the politicians who sold us out to the "death merchants" and other industrialists.

All we need to do is cut off the blood supply to the Evil Empire - the IRS tax Hoover attached to our paychecks.

All we need to do is bring our troops home, our men and women who have sworn to protect our country, not Wall Street wallets!

In short, all we need to do is shout what my license plate says… [lift the sign]
