What's really going on?  We have a feeling that the above story, Cyprus, Snowden, Obama's "Nyet" to Russia summit... are all part of a global tit-for-tat game between Washington and Moscow. Lest we forget, Cyprus used to be the Bahamas of Europe. It was where wealthy Russians kept their money. They were the biggest depositors in Cyprus banks, and thus the largest losers when the western Bankster Mob looted their accounts.  

So I also have a sense that we have not seen the last of it... For, "all war is based on deception" (Sun Tzu, The Art Of War)

Meanwhile, Obama acknowledged a decline in US-Russia relations, according to a story in Washington post:

Well, no surprise there. Except for Bobby Fischer, who became a persona-non-grata in his own country (USA) because he also spoke his mind freely, haven't the Russians produced all the great world champions?  By the way, like Snowden, Fischer had his US passport revoked because he spoke out against the US sanctions of Yugoslavia.

Dear Bob,

This is something very disturbing (re. Prepare For 'Massive Wealth Destruction'). Thank you for updating us all. But that is a future.

Cyprus is present. I noticed that you followed briefly Cyprus but I believe you should look into that in details. You will be amazed what happened and what is going on. Here is last example. 

You may remember that they blocked all amounts in Bank of Cyprus (less 100k Euro as guaranteed by Europe) until they sort out how much they need to take from everybody. They were talking about 60% but could have been more or less. So if you had 1 million, 100k was left at your current account and the rest (900,000.- ) was waiting for the calculation. 

Here is what happened (details from Bank of Cyprus):

“Dear Sirs,

The Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Cyprus announce that the Bank of Cyprus (BoC) has been fully recapitalised by the overall conversion of 47,5% of uninsured deposits into shares in the Bank of Cyprus. The shares shall be of €1,00 of nominal value each, and is expected to be allotted to the new shareholders by the end of August.

Following the recapitalisation, 12% of deposits that were previously blocked will be released (i.e. the 5% of the total amount) and transferred to current account in the BoC.

The remaining 88% of the deposits (i.e. the 37.5 of the total amount) will be split evenly into three separate time deposits of six, nine and twelve months, respectively. These deposits will receive a rate of interest as follows:

a. the deposits of 6 months will receive rate 2.95% (the previous interest was 2.50% for normal 6 months deposits),
b. the deposit of 9 months 3.125% (the previous interest was 2.75%), and
c. the deposit of 12 months 3.4% (the previous interest was 3% )
Restrictive measures on the deposits:
a. In the first end of the deposit period, there is a provision for renewal for another period of the same duration by Bank of Cyprus.
b. The termination of the deposit period is forbidden unless it will be used for:
(i) repayment of loan and / or overdraft and / or credit card within the Bank of Cyprus.
(ii) to create two or more deposits.’

Please also note that if it was you or me as individuals, then we are allowed to take 5,000 Euro per month. So to take out our 100k and this additional 50k we would need 26 to 27 months to get our money that is on the current account . For the rest, for 475,000.- you get shitty shares ( I suspect never to be able to cash them) and for the rest you will have access for first lot after one year, for second after 1,5 year and for 3rd after 2 years.

What are these guys talking about future? They should look into Cyprus case. Before 23 March, you had 1 million, and now you have 5,000 a month provided Bank of Cyprus does not go into liquidation!!
