BELGRADE, Sept. 16 - TiM editor's "Tour de Serbia" concluded this evening in Belgrade with a lecture before a packed house of the "Francuska 7 Forum," the home of the Serbian Writer's Club where 60 debates and protests by the Serbian writers against the NATO war were held. The Forumwpe13.jpg (38896 bytes) opened on March 25, one day after the first bombs fell on Serbia.

After about a 40-minute speech and a 20 minute-Q&A, the TiM editor was presented in a small private ceremony with a special poster designed by a well known Belgrade artist in the style of the posters which announced the daily debate themes during the war. The text, written in Cyrillic, read:

"Dobrodo{li (Welcome)

              Mister Bob!  (Mister Bob!)

Beograd, UKS, 16.IX 1999. (Belgrade, UKS=Serbian Writers' Guild)

Beograd nije Prag Va{ingtona! (Belgrade isn't Washington's doormat!)

                            Job"(artist's name)
